I'm normally a Lucio or try Bap when everyone on the team is incapable of dealing damage. I often say fuck it and pick healers because i don't mind it, it's insane what these dps players are doing out there. I also have to mention healers aren't the problem, the shitty teammates are the problem. I'm wondering if it is even possible for there to be that many new players but it's the only logical explanation i can think of. Sometimes I'm just left speechless at what my teammates are doing. But yeah the incompetence is really unfathomable. I ended up on this thread because, just like everyone else here I'm looking for answers. So now I must play kiriko for them to even stand a chance. Or tanks that get flasked and are at purple 10% HP and spam “need healing”. It’s hard to blame the character specifically when these same players are the ones who never let go of W as Zarya or Ramattra. Only hope is that the geniuses at blizzard don’t use this data and/or their moaning to further buff him. Even after his buffs, this has just caused more people to start playing him and to this day they play him completely incorrect and terribly. Nearly everyone plays doom poorly and is unaware of their surroundings. But saying his team must be worse isn’t accurate, mostly. As Ana, in a span of 5 seconds I have slept an Ana ultra blading genji, flasked almost the entire team and anti’d the enemies, get 2 life saver heals and finished off a high noon McCree or a justice Phara, but PoTG goes to a junk tire that kills 2 people and almost kills a Hog. Worse, PoTG is a terribly simple and misnamed system. In those same games there is usually a genji blade wipe of 2-3 people that’s doesn’t get the PoTG. I’ve seen numerous PoTG with McCree using high noon on 6 people (ow1) but using it too early and taking a lot of them down to 5-10%. POTG is governed literally only by X dmg over X time. Is there a way around this, or am I just gonna have to put up with this until I unlock comp? At this rate I'm about to just buy comp, if I even can.

I get that there are likely TONS of casuals this time around, but in OW1 I recall most players actually knowing how to play the game. Like I'll literally have my healers running directly into the objective by themselves and getting killed instantly while I'm trying to group up and play the game normally. Nobody plays as a team in QP, everyone just runs in without grouping up or strategizing, playing it like it's COD and just dying over and over. I find OW2 by its design a very fun game, but I can't enjoy it when all my quickplay matches involve me teaming with players that literally do not know what they are doing, especially when I need to win these in order to unlock comp. I was a consistent Gold Bastion/Reinhardt/Zen in that game (albeit I played mostly during season 6). There is no form of racism or using of racial slurs allowed on r/Overwatch2īackground, I've been playing Overwatch 2 for the last couple days, I'm a former OW1 comp player.
